Women’s Book Group purposes to give women opportunity to grow together through knowledge and application of God’s Word.  Books are chosen to teach us practical application of scripture.   Each month we read a few chapters and complete the corresponding study guide chapters.  We meet for fellowship, prayer and discussion once per month, generally the first Sunday evening of the month.  Our group corresponds with the men’s group to accommodate spouses who participate in both groups.

 

Women of Purpose meet every third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the church. (unless otherwise announced). We enjoy the fellowship with one another at our monthly meetings and times of sharing while working together on various projects. In the past we have been “Cooks for a Day” at Teen Challenge, provided Thanksgiving meals for families in need, hosted a Christmas party for children of incarcerated parents, and went on a  Mission Trip to White Earth, an Indian Reservation. We also attend an annual Conference in Hershey, a Women of Purpose Spring retreat, shopping trips, and an annual Christmas Party.
