What is KVAG (Kiski Valley Assembly of God) Like?

(back)
What makes KVAG different?

KVAG is a group of imperfect people who have come to know that God is for them. Jesus said, "I have come that they (you) may have life, and have it to the full." We strive to communicate that message in the most positive and relevant way we can. During our weekend services, contemporary music, multimedia and practical messages present the timeless truths of the Bible that can be easily understood and applied to your daily life. There is a great opportunity for the entire family to be involved in this growing and excited church family.

What are your Weekend Services like?
We work to make sure every service is inspiring and relevant to your life. We have people ready to greet you and ushers to assist in any way they can. They will be wearing name tags. Feel free to sit where you want to. The service begins with several songs, this is when we focus on celebrating and worshiping God and thanking Him for all He has done for us. Next, we will receive an offering (If you are our guest please don't feel obligated to give) followed by a brief time of greeting each other. Children are dismissed to Children's Church. Then pastor will preach a message from the Bible. The service often ends with an opportunity for prayer.

What about my children?

You are welcome to keep your children with you during our services. However, most children enjoy our kid's ministries. We have trained and screened nursery and children's church workers. Your children will enjoy a time of play, crafts, and a great Bible story on their level. Children's Church begins midway through the service and kids are dismissed after the songs. Nursery is available for ages birth to 3 during the entire Sunday morning service.

Our fully staffed nursery is a clean, safe and caring environment that is open during our services.

What does KVAG believe?

Even though our church is non-traditional in style, we are deeply committed to the truths of the Bible. We believe the Bible is God's inspired Words to us, they are complete, authoritative, relevant to all people and teach us everything we need to know concerning life, salvation and doctrine. To read our full doctrinal statements visit our "Our Beliefs" page.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

No. If you are our guest, we won't single you out in any way. You don't have to give any money. We would like for you to fill out one of our guest cards attached to the bulletin so that we can get more information about the church to you. However, no one will visit or call on you without your permission.
